🔥 HNCR Goes to GT-R Festival 2026 🔥

HNCR will be cruising to Sydney together for GT-R Festival 2026, with plans to join the Melbourne Stagea crew for the official morning entry convoy into the event.

🚗 HNCR CRUISE TO SYDNEY

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

We'll be organising a Canberra departure so members can travel up together as a club convoy.

📍 Local Meet Point: United Eagle Hawk – Canberra

⏰ Meet from 11:30AM Friday

⏰ Departing 12:00PM sharp

This gives everyone around 30 minutes to fuel up, grab snacks, sort out radios, and have a cheeky pit stop before hitting the road north.

Our next stop will be:

📍 Ampol Marulan

⏰ Approx. 1:00PM

This is where we'll meet up with the Melbourne Stagea crew for a relaxed fuel and coffee stop before continuing toward Sydney together.

Timing may vary slightly depending on traffic and convoy pace, but expect around the 1PM mark.

📝 Rough Friday Planning:

• 01:00PM – Rendezvous with Canberra crew at Ampol Marulan

• 03:30PM–04:00PM – Arrive at Alpha Hotel Eastern Creek & check in

• 03:45PM – Depart Alpha Hotel to cruise into the event as a group

• 04:00PM – Gates open to spectators. We'll park together in the Eastern Creek Dragway carpark

🏨 SYDNEY / FRIDAY NIGHT PLANS

Everyone is handling their own accommodation arrangements once in Sydney.

The general plan is to get checked into accommodation and then meet up for dinner and a few drinks depending on what everyone feels like doing.

Current options are:

1️⃣ Grab dinner inside the track precinct before meeting up at The Oaks Bar & Grill for a few beverages

2️⃣ Lay low at The Oaks Bar & Grill with the crew for the evening. Did I mention beverages...

3️⃣ DYOT - Do Your Own Thing

This is not a formal gathering and everything is completely optional.

That said… if you like cool cars, need to eat, and enjoy a few beers, you'll probably be in good company. 😉

🔥 GT-R FESTIVAL MORNING ENTRY

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

The Stagea crew has invited HNCR members to join their group entry into GT-R Festival on Saturday morning.

📍 BP Truck Stop – Eastern Creek

(1 Wallgrove Rd, Eastern Creek)

⏰ 7:00AM Arrival

⏰ 7:40AM HARD DEPARTURE

The goal is to convoy in together and park as a large Nissan group within the designated meet area.

⚠️ IMPORTANT PARKING INFO

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Stageas will be prioritised within the dedicated Stagea parking area.

If you own a Stagea and want to park with the Stagea group, your car MUST be registered with Alex beforehand. Speak to Brendan Summerfield for the details.

All other Nissan/Datsun models are still welcome to cruise in and park alongside the wider group where possible.

🚗 Alex Burns is coordinating the Melbourne → Sydney convoy and general Stagea crew activities throughout the weekend.

🚗 Brendan Summerfield is coordinating HNCR members travelling from Canberra to the Marulan meet point.

📱 All members travelling in the convoy will be added into a shared Messenger group chat for live updates, coordination, and any timing changes throughout the trip.

📻 UHF radios are also highly encouraged for the drive. They make convoy communication significantly easier and honestly just add to the fun of the trip.

CRS cars are authorised for travel direct to and from Sydney, and from there place of accomodation to the Eastern Creek precinct including The Oaks Bar & Grill at the alpha. The only other travel authroised needs to be documented with an affiliate motor club plan that can be presented to the HNCR committee for authorization.
